I To be made; to be done. Fieri facias: cause you to be made; a writ of execution directing the sheriff to make the amount of a judgment against lands and goods, but usually enforced against goods only. Fieri feci: I have caused to be made; the return upon such a writ that the judgment has been satisfied. Fieri non debet (debnit) sed factum valet: it ought not to be done, but [if] done, it is valid.
