A statute authorizing a continuance “for good cause” in the absence of a party is satisfied by proof of the illness of plaintiff in another state, and the ignorance of his attorney of the names of the witnesses and the details of the case. Tynan v. Walker, 35 Cal, 636, 95 Am. Dec. 152.
