Forfactura. L. Lat. [from forisfacere, (q. v.); L. Fr. forfaicture,] In old English law. Forfeiture; the losing one's property or life, as the consequence of some fault, misconduct or crime. Spelman, voc. Forisfacere. See Forfeiture! A crime, offence, transgression or injury by which one loses property or life. LL. Fdw. Conf, c. 32. Spelman, ub. sup.
