Under the old English Law, where a man fled for felony, and escaped, his own goods were not forfeited as bona fugitivorum until it was found by proceedings of record ( e. g. before the coroner in the case of death) that he fled for the felony, Foxley’s Case, 6 Co. 109 a. See Fug am Fecit; Waifs.
