A tenancy which is not fixed and made certain, as to its duration, by agreement of the parties. Brown’s Adm’rs v. Bragg, 22 Ind. 122. se Bslon of a court, for the trial and decision of causes, as distinguished from a special term, for the hearing of motions or arguments, or the despatch of routine or formal business, or the trial of a special list or class of causes or a particular case. It is also sometimes used to designate a sitting of the court In banc.
