In a statute, will, or other instrument, a direction that property shall "go to" a designated person means that it shall pass or proceed to such person, vest in and belong to him. In re Hitchins' Estate, 48 Misc. Rep. 485, 89 N. Y. Supp. 472; PI ass v. Plass, 121 Cal. 131, 53 Pac. 448.
