hazardous material

18 U.S.C. § 1992 — in this section

the term “hazardous material” has the meaning given to that term in chapter 51 of title 49;

46 U.S.C. § 2101 — in this subtitle (5 versions over time)

“hazardous material” means a liquid material or substance that is—

(A) flammable or combustible;

(B) designated a hazardous substance under section 311(b) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1321); or

(C) designated a hazardous material under section 5103(a) of title 49.
