To " hinder and delay " creditors is to do something which is an attempt to defraud them; to put some obstacle in the path, or interpose some time, unjustifiably, before the creditor can realize what is owed him out of the debtor's property, l The hindering and delaying which vitiates an assignment is such as is sought through covin or malice on the part of the debtor for his benefit.
