A technical term of the English law of conveyancing, used to designate such conveyances as may be made bya leaschold tenant without working a forfeiture. These are said to ba lease und re-lease, bargain and sale, and, in ease of a life-tenant, a covenant to stand seised. See 1 Chit. Pr. 243,
