In Scotchlaw. The assulmption of authority over another's property, either legally or illegally. The irregular intermeddling with the effects of a deceased person, which subjects the party to the whole debts of the deceused, is called “oitious intromission.” Kames, Eq. b. 8, e, 8, § 2.
