Persons who bind themselves "jointly and severally" in a bond or note may ali be sued together for its enforcement, or the creditor may select any one or more as the object of his suit. See Mitchell v. Darri-cott, 3 Brev. (S. O.) 145; Rice v. Gove, 22 Pick. (Mass.) 158, 33 Am. Dec. 724.
