To assess; to fix, settle, define, determine or reduce to a certainty, in point of time, number, amount, etc. Assidere, taxare et le Tare: to assess, tax and levy. Assiderunt et taxarunt: they assessed and taxed. Assessus: assessed. Assidenda: to be assessed; to assign or appoint a time.
