The standard measure in the United States contains 2,150.42 cubic inches, which is the same as what is known as the Winchester bushel, the standard in England from the time of Henry VII. until 1826, when the standard known as the Imperial bushel was established. That contains 2,218.192 cubic inches, v. Bussellus.
