I. Strong; effective; of weight, force or effect Fortis et sana: strong and sound; staunch and strong. Fortior: stronger, more positio legis qnam hoininis: the disposition of the law is of greater force and effect than that of man. Fortisslmnm: strongest; of the greatest force or weight, v. Arguvientum ab, etc.
