Liberum maritagium: frank-marriage. Liberum servitium: free service, that is, certain service. Liberum socagium: free socage. Liberum tenementum: freehold; free or frank tenement; a free holding; an estate held by a freeman; a plea of freehold; a plea by the defendant in an action of trespass that the locus in quo, etc.
