In old English law
A person of lower nority or infancy. Minor jnrare non oath. Minor 17 annis non admittitur under seventeen years i^ not admitted minorem custodire non debet, alios gere qni seipsnm regere nescit: a to a minor, for he who knows not sumed to be unfit to govern others.
