Movables

Things movable; movable or personal chattels, which may be annexed to, or attendant on the person of the owner. In the civil law. Inanimate things, animals being distinguished as things moving. In Scots law. Opposed to heritage, so that every species of property, and every right, is by that law either heritable or movable.
