I To all; to all persona Omnibus ad quos praesentes literae pervenerint, salutcm: to all to whom the present letters shall come, greeting; a form of address with which charters both public and private, (deeds) and other instruments were anciently commenced. Omnibus prseseutes literas visuris vel audituris, salutern: to all who shall see or hear the present letters, greeting.
