Opinio

I. Opinion. Opinio quse favet testamento est tencnda: the opinion which favors a will is to be followed. Opinio comuiunis or vulgaris: common opinion; general or prevalent opinion, as distinguished from the peculiar opinion of an individual, or a new opinion not generally received. In the civil law. Opinio communis judicando et consulendo complecti debet: common opinion is to be regarded in judging and giving advice.
