Relating to the king. Royal court: the king's court; the courts of Westminster. Royal fish: whale and sturgeon; so called as belonging to the king by prerogative, when thrown ashore, or caught near the coast; a part of the king's ordinary revenue. Royal mines: mines of silver and gold.
