I., Mandatary. The party to whom a charge is given; the party employed in a mandate. Mandatarius terminos sibi positos transgredi non potest: a mandatary cannot exceed his instructions. Mandavi ballivo ( I have commanded the bailiff): an old sheriif 's return to an execution made in a liberty.
