7 U.S.C. § 5923 — in this section

The term “microenterprise” means a commercial enterprise that has 5 or fewer employees, 1 or more of whom own the enterprise.

15 U.S.C. § 6901 — for purposes of this chapter

The term “microenterprise” means a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation that—

(A) has fewer than 5 employees; and

(B) generally lacks access to conventional loans, equity, or other banking services.

29 U.S.C. § 1783 — as used in this section

The term “microenterprise” means a commercial enterprise if—

(A) the enterprise has 5 or fewer employees, 1 or more of whom owns the enterprise; and

(B) each of the owners of the enterprise is economically disadvantaged.
