A divisiop of a year, being either a lunar month, consisting of twenty-eight days or four weeks, or a calendar month, consisting of from twenty-eight to thirty-one days. At common law, a month is a lunar month, but otherwise in ecclesiastical matters, and otherwise in some of the states of the Union.
