A thing done whereby another man is annoyed in his free lands or tenements. Also, the assize or writ lying for the same. Fitzh. N. B. 183; Old N. B. 108, 109. Manw. For. Laws, c. 17, divides nocumentum into generate, commune, spccialc. Reg. Orig. 197, 199; Coke, Will Case. Nocumentum was also divided into damnosum, for which no action lay, it being done by an irresponsible agent, and injuriosum et dam- NOISt. See Nuisance; Injunction.
