A right to dig and take ore from land. Ege v. Kille, 84 Pa. 340. ORE TENUS (Lat.). Verbally; orally. Formerly the pleadings of the parties were ore tenus; and the practice is said to have been retained till the reign of Edward III. 3 Reeve, Hist. Eng. Law 95; Steph. PI., Andr. ed. § 59.
