A royal revenue belonging to every queen consort during her marriage with the king, and due from every person who has made a voluntary fine or offer to the king of ten marks or upwards, in consideration of any grant or privilege conferred by the crown. It is due or record on the recording of the fine. It was last exacted (or proceedings therefor begun) in the reigu of Charles I. It became, in effect, extinct at the Restoration, 1660. 1 Bla.
