“recreational vessel” has the meaning given that term in section 1362 of title 33;

The term “recreational vessel” means any vessel that is—

(i) manufactured or used primarily for pleasure; or

(ii) leased, rented, or chartered to a person for the pleasure of that person.

46 U.S.C. § 2101 — in this subtitle

“recreational vessel” means a vessel—

(A) being manufactured or operated primarily for pleasure; or

(B) leased, rented, or chartered to another for the latter's pleasure.
