If, upon the hearing of a rule to show cause, the causg shown should be decided insufficient, the rule is made absolute, i. e. the court makes final order for the party to perform the requirements of the rule. See Rule Nisi.

One which commands the subject-matter of the rule to be forthwith enforced. It is usual, when the party has failed to show sufficient cause against a rule nisi, to "make the rule absolute, i. e., imperative and final.
