42 U.S.C. § 8002 — in this section
the term “temporarily disabled” means an impairment which (A) is expected to be of no more than six months’ duration, and (B) substantially impedes an individual's ability to live independently unless the individual receives supportive congregate services; and
42 U.S.C. § 8011 — for purposes of this section
The term “temporarily disabled” means having an impairment that—
(A) is expected to be of no more than 6 months duration; and
(B) impedes the ability of the individual to live independently unless the individual receives congregate services.
