An offer of a sum of money in satisfaction of a debt or claim, by producing and showing the amount to the creditor or claimant, and expressing verbally a willingness to pay it Tender of issue: a form of words in a pleading by which the pleader offers to refer the question raised to the appropriate mode of decision.
