chief commercial driver

Defined in 1 place of the United States Code.

The term “chief commercial driver’s licensing official” means the official in a State who is authorized to—

(A) maintain a record about commercial driver’s licenses issued by the State; and

(B) take action on commercial driver’s licenses issued by the State.
