handicapped person

Defined in 1 place of the United States Code.

The term “handicapped person” means any individual (A) who is a handicapped individual as defined in section 7(7) 1 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 [29 U.S.C. 706(7)], (B) who is under a disability as defined in section 1614(a)(3)(A) or 233(d)(1) of the Social Security Act [42 U.S.C. 1382c(a)(3)(A), 423(d)(1)] or in section 102(7) 1 of the Developmental Disabilities Services and Facilities Construction Act [42 U.S.C. 6001(7)], or (C) who is receiving benefits under chapter 11 or 15 of title 38.
