minimum enrollment period

Defined in 1 place of the United States Code.

For purposes of subparagraph (A), the term “minimum enrollment period” means, with respect to an individual's enrollment with a group health plan, a period established by the State, of not more than 6 months beginning on the date the individual's enrollment under the plan becomes effective.
