national defense sealift vessel

The term “national defense sealift vessel” means—
(A) a Department of Defense sealift vessel; and
(B) a national defense reserve fleet vessel, including a vessel in the Ready Reserve Force maintained under section 11 of the Merchant Ship Sales Act of 1946 (50 U.S.C. 4405).
