work product
Defined in 2 places of the United States Code.
In this section the term “work product”—
(1) means tangible and intangible items and information produced or possessed as a result of a contract referred to in subsection (a); and
(2) includes—
(A) any completed end items;
(B) any uncompleted end items; and
(C) any property in the contractor’s possession in which the United States Government has an interest.

In this section, the term “work product” includes—
(1) a prosecution memorandum;
(2) emails, notes, and other correspondence related to a disposition decision; and
(3) the contents described in paragraphs (1) through (6) of subsection (c).
