The young of certain animals of a base nature or ferw naturae It is a rule that when no larceny can be claimed, it cannot be committed of tbe young of such creatures in the nest, kennel, or den; Co. 3d Inst 109; 1 Russ. Cr. 153. The owner of the land is, however, considered to have a qualified property in such animals, ratione impotentiw; 2 Bla. Com. 394.
