29 U.S.C. § 49A — for purposes of this chapter

the terms “chief elected official”, “institution of higher education”, “one-stop center”, “one-stop partner”, “training services”, “workforce development activity”, and “workplace learning advisor”, have the meaning given the terms in section 3102 of this title;

29 U.S.C. § 3102 — in this section

The term "workplace learning advisor" means an individual employed by an organization who has the knowledge and skills necessary to advise other employees of that organization about the education, skill development, job training, career counseling services, and credentials, including services provided through the workforce development system, required to progress toward career goals of such employees in order to meet employer requirements related to job openings and career advancements that support economic self-sufficiency.

The terms “career planning”, “community-based organization”, “customized training”, “economic development agency”, “individual with a barrier to employment”, “industry or sector partnership”, “on-the-job training”, “recognized postsecondary credential”, and “workplace learning advisor” have the meanings given such terms in section 3102 of title 29.
