Services for prison inmates

Patrons served: The State of Oregon Law Library will only respond to inmate requests from inmates of Oregon institutions or requests relating to Oregon law. Only materials not available from Oregon Department of Corrections facilities will be provided. As the ODOC provides access to Oregon and Federal case law no requests for such materials will be fulfilled. Services provided: No material loaned and no research service provided. Library will photocopy and mail requested material if a specific citation is provided by the patron. Requests must be in writing only and related to Oregon criminal law. Responses limited to 20 page maximum and only one request filled per inmate per month. Costs and fees: $.25 per page plus $3.00 postage (no postage charge for Draper or Gunnison inmates).
