Known as the Optometry Law

The act spans §§ 8–8 (40 sections).

A person may not falsely personate a licensed optometrist, or buy, sell, or fraudulently obtain a license issued to another or advertise the practice of optometry in violation of regulations of the board. Except for the practice of routine services of optometry delegated under AS 08.72.050(7), practicing or offering to practice optometry without a license is sufficient evidence of a violation of this chapter.
