Licensure

Known as the Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists Practice Act

The act spans §§ 8–8 (27 sections).

The board shall license an applicant who meets the qualifications for licensure under this chapter and shall issue a license certificate to each person licensed. A license certificate is prima facie evidence of the right of the person to hold out as a licensed physical therapist, licensed physical therapist assistant, licensed occupational therapist, or licensed occupational therapy assistant.
