Corporate name of foreign corporation

Known as the Alaska Nonprofit Corporation Act

The act spans §§ 10–10 (157 sections).

A certificate of authority may not be issued to a foreign corporation unless the corporate name of the corporation (1) does not contain a word or phrase that indicates or implies that it is organized for any purpose other than the purpose contained in its articles of incorporation;

(2) is available for use by the foreign corporation under AS 10.20.021(b).
