Assumed corporate name

Known as the Alaska Nonprofit Corporation Act

The act spans §§ 10–10 (157 sections).

When a foreign corporation, applying for a certificate of authority, has a name that is not available for use by the foreign corporation under AS 10.20.021(b), it shall (1) select a name under which it elects to do business in the state;

(2) clearly identify on all advertising, contracts, and other legal documents its true corporate name as well as its assumed name.
