Seafood processing research

Known as the Alaska Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act

The act spans §§ 17–17 (69 sections).

The commissioner may conduct studies, research, experiments, and demonstrations, directly or through grants to or contracts with public or private agencies, organizations, or individuals to (1) improve sanitation practices in the processing of fish and fisheries products; and

(2) develop improved techniques for surveillance and inspection activities under this chapter.
