A patient subject to involuntary hospitalization under AS 47.30.705, 47.30.735, or AS 47.30.755 may at any time convert to voluntary status if the responsible physician agrees that (1) the patient is an appropriate patient for voluntary hospitalization; and
(2) the conversion is made in good faith.
