Definitions.

Known as the Alabama Juvenile Justice Act

The act spans §§ 12-15-101 to 12-15-701 (117 sections).

For purposes of this article, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings:

(1) COMMIT. Transfer legal and physical custody.

(2) DEPARTMENT. The Department of Mental Health.
