Ala. Code § 2-7A-4

Lease, Sale, Conveyance, Etc., of Real or Personal Property to the Agriculture Exhibition Center Corporation.

(Act 2024-451, §4.)

The county in which the Alabama Farm Center is located and each municipality therein may lease, sell, donate, or otherwise convey to the Agriculture Exhibition Center Corporation real or personal property, including park properties, without authorization by election of the qualified voters of the county or of the municipality; and the county in which the center is located and each municipality therein are authorized, but not required, to appropriate public funds of the county or of the municipality to the corporation to be used by the corporation for purposes of this chapter. The county in which the center is located shall not lease, sell, donate, or convey any property to the corporation, or appropriate any money to the corporation, unless the county commission of that county has determined that the lease, sale, donation, conveyance, or appropriation will benefit the people of that county or municipality to such an extent as to fully warrant and justify the lease, sale, donation, conveyance, or appropriation.
