Ala. Code § 27-62-10

Penalties.

Known as the Insurance Data Security Law

The act spans §§ 27-62-1 to 27-62-9 (11 sections).

(Act 2019-98, §10.)

(a) An insurance producer violating this chapter may be penalized in accordance with Section 27-7-19.

(b) Any other licensee violating this chapter may be subject to the suspension or revocation of the license or certificate of authority of the licensee or, in lieu thereof and at the discretion of the commissioner, the licensee may be subject to a fine of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation.
