Ala. Code § 28-4-162

Prescription of Whiskey, Rum, Gin, Etc., for Medicinal Purposes.

No physician shall prescribe whiskey, rum, gin or brandy or any prohibited liquor for medicinal purposes, except alcohol as provided by law.
