(a) In addition to any other filing fees assessed, the Sheriff of Mobile County shall be entitled to a one dollar ($1) sheriff’s filing fee on each civil and criminal case filed in the District and Circuit Courts of Mobile County.
(b) The filing fees shall be collected by the sheriff and paid into the general fund consistent with Section 36-22-17.
