Ark. Code Ann. § 1-1-102

Signature by mark

Acts 2009, No. 412, § 1.

In addition to the provisions of §§ 4-3-401, 7-5-305, 7-7-308, 27-14-705, and 28-25-103, a signature by mark on a document is legal for the purposes of executing the document if the signature is:

(1) Made by a person who at the time of signature lacks the ability to: Write; or

(2) Sign his or her name; and

(3) Witnessed by at least one (1) disinterested person.
